Part #2-Three Models of Understanding How Results are Achieved
THREE BASIC METAPHORS (Models):
Mind Sciences like NLP is a model of subjectivity. It is very easy to learn once one really understands the difference between content, context and process.
Brain Sciences like amygdala clicking are brain based (actual movement in the brain) and yet use mind sciences techniques to achieve results.
Energy Psychology is ANOTHER model, different from either Mind or Brain Sciences. It is the simplest and least complicated metaphor.
The Energy model is more useful in its' simplisity than the Mind or Brain Science. It removes ungrounded assessments (content/judgments and labels) and uses more grounded assessments (process/outcome and calibration).
Note: The Mind Sciences like NLP/DHE/HPE/etc made the original distintions of content-context-process and yet many in the Mind Science community get caught up in content because for some reason people love their stories about "why" this is the way it is. With a process model like the energy model the why is always the same and there is no need to come up with justifying stories because it is not about the person and is designed to not be taken personally. For it is about the process.
